"The Raise The Bar" competition is only open to individuals who reside in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
In the event of the winning team being of an age level which is under the age of 18, guardians will be required to receive the prize fund and all associated connections with the prizes on the minors’ behalf.
Entry shall be deemed to be a full and unconditional acceptance by the applicant of the terms and conditions of this Promotion. Failure to adhere to these terms and conditions may result in disqualification and, if applicable, forfeiture of the prize.
Closing date for voting is midnight on the 28th of April 2014.
One vote per valid email address will be counted towards the final result.
Public voting represents one vote out of four in the competition. The remaining three votes will be at the discretion of our celebrity judging panel of Nicky English, Des Cahill and Michael O’Muircheartaigh.
By entering, participants may be required for publicity purposes to make themselves available for media engagements on behalf of Etihad Airways.
The winners will be selected no later than May 10th 2014. Winners will be notified by phone or email no later than May 30th 2014.
The winning club will receive a grant of €10,000 to be used at the club board’s discretion in agreement with Etihad Airways. Additionally, the main prize includes a “Raise The Bar” trophy, full team kit for one of the club’s participating teams (up to 30 sets), training equipment for the winning club, 2x Etihad flight tickets (to anywhere on the Etihad Network on Etihad Airways operated flights only, excludes codeshare operated flights) and 2x tickets to the 2014 All-Ireland Hurling final on behalf of Etihad Airways to be used during fundraising events. The prize also includes the appearance of Micheál Ó Muircheartaigh at a fundraising night of the club’s choosing, a training session with the club Juvenile team hosted by a GAA Hurling All Star (TBC) and a training session with Nicky English for the club’s senior players, a club visit from Conor O’Shea (Harlequins Director of Rugby), and a nutritional advice session with a leading endocrinologist (all attendances subject to availability).
Employees (and their families) of Etihad Airways and their agents are not eligible to enter this promotion.
It is at the discretion of the club secretary or president to nominate the team (or, if applicable, teams) within their club that is/are most deserving of the various prize fund assets.
The prize is as stated and no alternative, cash or otherwise will be offered. The prize is not transferable.
The judges’ decision on the winning club is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Illegible votes will not be accepted.
